It started with one stubborn idea: coffee should be bold and muffins should be warm. Mike opened the first counter in 2014 with a hand-me-down espresso machine and a notebook of recipes from his grandmother. Today we still roast small batches and bake every muffin by hand — because shortcuts taste like shortcuts.
